OPL has eliminated the daily overdue fine charge for items not returned after their due date. For most items such as books, periodicals, audiobooks, music CDs, watt detectors, BestSeller Express, DVDs, Playaways, book club bags, and kits, the full price of the item will be charged to the account after 21 days of not being returned. This charge can be removed if the item has not already been paid for and is returned at any time. If you have already paid for the item and find it, simply keep the item as we cannot issue a refund. Items such as multi-card readers, headphones, phone chargers, flash drives have a $10-$20 fee depending on the item if it is not returned by the end of day that it is checked out. If an item reaches 35 days overdue, a $10 collection fee will be assessed to the account. This fee cannot be removed.
