You can suggest an item for purchase by logging into omahalibrary.org, clicking the Services tab, then Suggest a Purchase. Click Add Suggestion to make a request, and check this page again later for updates on your requests.
If we're unable to acquire a suggested item, it may still be accessed through interlibrary loan. Visit omahalibrary.org > Services tab > Interlibrary Loan to learn about our ILL policies and procedures. Note that you will be charged the postage to send the item back to the lending library (which varies depending on the weight of the item).
Keep in mind that rare books, including many genealogy books, may not be available through interlibrary loan, but it never hurts to try!
