Do you have archival records from the Omaha World Herald that go back to 1973?

Answer

If you have an Omaha Public Library card we have a access to a database of newspaper articles called Newsbank. It includes a historical database for the Omaha World Herald. Here is a link to our newspaper & magazines databases: https://omahalibrary.org/resources/newspapers-magazines-journals/

We also have microfilm of many historical newspapers in Omaha and some from elsewhere. If you are not an OPL card holder we may be able to do a reprint from the microfilm on your behalf for a small research fee.

If you'd like to do this research in person, please visit the Main Library, our genealogy department and the newspapers and other historical resources are housed on the 3rd Floor. Staff would be happy to help you get started.
