What are the parking options downtown? Answered By: Martha Grenzeback

There are a few possibilities! First, if you just want to avoid the bother of running out to feed a meter, you can park in the Park One parking garage, catty-corner from the library on the northwest corner of Douglas and 15th St. It is one dollar an hour.

There are also a number of 10-hour meters on the Gene Leahy Mall, east of 13th St., which are 50 cents per hour.

You will find 10-hour-meters south of Jackson St. on S. 15th St as well, and I think those are 25 cents an hour.

Finally, if you don't mind a longer walk, you can often find free street parking south of Leavenworth.

You can also download the City of Omaha's parking app--it makes feeding meters a lot more convenient. You will find the app and also more parking information at the ParkOmaha website.

    I hope this helps!
