Does OPL have a copy of The Sixth Edition of the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment?
Thanks for asking! It looks like we don't have the Guide to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment in any edition in the Omaha Public Library. I do see the 2008 6th ed. in the holdings of some of the specialized medical libraries around town - notably the UNMC library - but to get it through OPL you'd want to take a look at inter-library loan. ILL comes with a postage cost and has a longer processing time (2 weeks is usually a good starting point), but if you don't need the information urgently, it might beat a $180 purchase. If you need the information soon and could take research notes/photocopies, visiting UNMC to use the item in-library might be the way to go.
I appreciate your question! Feel free to email back or call 402-444-4800 for further information.
