My name is Adam St.Pierre and I'm a reference librarian over at the East Baton Rouge Parish Library and I've got a few questions about how you guys have done your speed dating program. About how many people turn out? What kind of ratio of men/women do you get? How exactly is it organized? Do you have any tips for libraries that want to do a program like that?
We've been having some success with organizing events for the 18 to 30ish crowd that typically gets lost in the mix if they don't have young kids by using Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ebrpl20somethings) and by reaching out via Reddit to get more of the male population.
