Answer

Thanks for your question! When you place a request through WorldCat you'll actually submit a request to Omaha Public Library through the WorldCat system, and then we reach out to potential lending libraries. If you've followed the links all the way through to owning libraries' websites, you're just one or two clicks too far. From the record of the item you're looking for, look for the link that reads "Borrow this item from another library." From the list of owning libraries, look for the small black button marked "ILL."

Either way, it should take you to a form where you'll enter your name, address and contact info, library card number, and which Omaha Public Library location you'd like the book sent to. Once you've submitted that form, our inter-library loan clerk will start trying to run down a copy from the owning libraries.

If that doesn't look like what you're seeing or doesn't appear to work properly, let me know and we'll see if there's anything else going on.

Thanks again for asking! Feel free to call 402-444-4857 if you need additional support.
