Can I have my 39.00 fine canceled? I tried to renew for several weeks but new webpage prevented me.

I would click on to "my account" & would get message about new library catalog. Unable to renew books. I waited patiently for website to start working but now have 39.00 fine!

That's very odd that you had that experience, as we've only been advertising our upcoming new catalog for a couple of weeks!

While clicking the link to get to your account, for only the last week people have been directed to an announcement about the new system.  Then clicking the link at the bottom of the announcement takes you to the normal log in screen.  Or you can go to the top of the 'ad' page and click 'My Account' to get there. 

If for some reason those aren't working for you, you should be able to get there using this link.  The current catalog system will be fully functional until August 29th.  You can also always renew by calling any location or via our 24-hour renewal line at 402-444-4100.

Regarding the $39.00 - based on the email address you provided, the account I can look up doesn't have a fine like that.  If this is in regards to another account we would have to get more specific information.  I would recommend talking with someone over the phone or in person at one of our branches to make sure we're giving you the correct info, and we can see exactly what is happening on your account.
