Can we sign up before Friday for the summer reading program? I would like to sign up online for my grandsons & myself. I read ebooks almost exclusively, they read a mix of both. I work during the week & have a commitment in Saturday. Thank you

Answer

Thanks for asking! Yes, you certainly can - the Summer Reading modules are up and running, and folks who register now actually help us with a bit of a 'soft launch.' You can enroll your grandsons in the Kids Summer Reading or Teen Summer Reading, whichever is the better fit, and yourself in Adult Summer Reading. Of course, you may have found those links on our website already!

If each member of the family has a library card, you'll use the 14-digit library card and 4 digit PIN to register - if the young men don't have cards of their own, there's actually an option to enroll without a card for the first time this year. You'll be asked a few questions about which library you use most often, school and grade, and ZIP code, and you may be asked to choose a 'username' if you haven't already used our new catalog.

The online registration process should work pretty smoothly, but don't hesitate to give us a call at 402-444-4800 if you have any trouble.
