If I wanted to make digital scans from microfilm, what output/storage media would you recommend, what file formats are available, what charges, etc

Thank you for your question!  You will need a current library card to use the microfilm machines, or purchase a $2 day guest pass.  For your questions:

Output/storage media:  Any flashdrive will work.

File fomats available:  There are multiple.  Most patrons use .jpg, .tif, or .pdf. 

If you are making digital scans, there is no charge.  If you need prints, then tt costs 10 cents to print a page using the digital microfilm machines (8.5"x11" only) and 25 cents to print a page using the analog microfilm machines (11"x17" only).
