I think your new system is a complete disaster compared to previous system. For me is is nearly impossibly to navigate quickly. Why complicate what worked so well?

The new system is indeed more apt to give too many irrelevant results unless you narrow down your search to title/author, etc. (as we have discovered--increased flexiblily has many good aspects, but can also seem to create chaos!). There are options down the lefthand side of your search results that help a lot in eliminating the unwanted results: format (to show only dvds, for example), audience (to show only adult items), content (to show only fiction or non-fiction), and then the sort menu at the top helps you sort just by title, for example. The default is "relevance," and who knows what the catalog thinks is "relevant."  :) We'd be happy to help you find some navigational tools here!  Feel free to call us at 402-444-4801, or give us an idea of what specifically is causing trouble for you, and we'd be happy to tailor our search hints for you.

Best wishes,
