Thanks for asking! The main condition for free privileges with the Omaha Public Library is residence in Douglas County, so outside of some special circumstances you may not be able to get a card at no cost. However, you can still get a library card, and I think it can still be a good value. We sell non-resident memberships for $25/4mos or $75 a year. That would give you full access to the collections of all 12 of our libraries and all of our database subscriptions, ebooks, and the like. One payment covers your entire household, so significant others, children, etc. would be able to get cards with full privileges as well. I've had folks register for non-resident cards as close as Sarpy County and as far away as Munich, Germany. Feel free to call 402-444-4800 if you have any questions.

Thanks again!
