is there a way of creating a list of books I want to read, but don't want to request immediately?

Yes there is.  Go to our online catalog, log in to your account with the links in the upper right of your screen using your library card, and then browse to the item in which you're interested (for example, Huckleberry Finn ).

Right below the title listing and right above the location listings you should see two buttons near the right hand side of the screen.  One say 'Request Item' but the one you're interested in is to the left of that one which says 'Add to my list'.  Once you do that, the button should turn green.

Now if you go back to the top where you logged in, you'll see a link to "My List".  Click on that link, and you should see all the books you've added to your list.  Once you have more than one book on your list you can even create mulitple lists and sort your choices between them.

I hope this answers your question - thanks for asking!
