Can you tell me what the Line Yard Operators Association was and what business it served? Its address in 1945 was 6210 California St., Omaha. A Major Lee Wells was the association secretary. I think it was a business association for retail lumber yards, but am unsure. Perhaps, there is a listing for it in one of the city directories for 1945. Many thanks. Don DeWitt

(This will probably be emailed as a duplicate....)
According to the information in the Historic World Herald, a line yard operator was a lumberman who owned/operated 3 or more lumber yards.
I was not able to find information about the association or its members but apparently the Association was a group of such owners or operators.
If we find anything more about the association, we will let you know!
