For the summer reading log, I am reading books that my mom bought for me but is that okay?

I have read 8 books so far and I have just noticed that it mentions things about reading books from the library. I have only been reading things from my book shelf that my mom bought for me, but haven't gotten a chance to read yet. Do I need to start all over?

It is perfectly fine to read your own books for the summer reading program!  The important thing is that everybody reads a lot this summer.  Keep reading and have a great summer!
