Q

I'm a grad student at UNC Greensboro working on a thesis on Charles W. Chesnutt. I am searching out his story publications from a list of Newspapers

provided by SS McClure newspaper syndicate. It seems that your library has the only copy of the film from Dec 1885 to the end of 1887. Do you allow university libraries to borrow your film?

Answer

Unfortunately we don't allow our microfilm to be sent out of the library, but there is a possibility we could look up the information you needed and print out a hardcopy to send to you.

Please email your questions/research topics to research@omahalibrary.org.  Be as specific as possible. There would likely be a fee involved due to research time, but the people who staff our research email address will let you know the details.

Thank you!
