Q

Is the live homework help free for students?

I am a translator/ para at West Point Public Schools and I have a spanish speaking student who will need help on her Algebra 2 class next year, since we can't find an Algebra 2 book in spanish. I will be moving to Omaha this summer and wanted to see if she will be able to use the Homework Live Help for free next year. I am planning on getting a library card for her. Thank you so much.

Answer

Yes, it is free.  Omaha Public Library  offers Live Homework help using Tutor. com that connects students to expert tutors (without charge) in math, science, social studies, and English via the Internet. Spanish-speaking tutors are available to help studentsin math and science.

This free service allows students with a Library card to connect to an expert tutor either from computers at one of Omaha Public Library’s locations or from any computer with an Internet connection, every day from 2 to 9 p.m. Live Homework Help® is easy to use.
