Q

I am looking for a copy of the Omaha Herald for February 12, 1934

My grandmothers 80th birthday is coming up and I would love for her to have this.

Answer

We do have the Omaha World Herald on microfilm at the W. Dale Clark (Main) Library, going back to the 1880s, which you could make a print from--or, you could also access it online in the Historical Omaha World Herald database, which you can access in the library--or through our website from home if you have an Omaha Public Library card (go to www.omahalibrary.org and click on Resource Center, then Newspapers, then Omaha World Herald--make sure you click on "Historical Omaha World Herald" after that).

Another option, which will probably give you a better-quality print, is to purchase a facsmile from the Omaha World Herald, at https://marketplace.omaha.com/shop/pages.php?pageid=7

I hope this helps!
