Q

My library card is expired, now I have to go to the library before I can place a hold on the book I want.

Is there any way to avoid two trips?

Answer

I apologize for your frustration!  If your library card is expired, the reason we require you to come in is so that we can see photo ID and address verification.  If you would like to call your local branch we would be happy to put the book on hold for you, so that when the book arrives you can just come once to renew your card and pick up your item.  Here is a link to our Locations and Hours.  Thank you!
