How do I request a book to be purchased?

Book requesting is Cry Mercy by Mariah Stewart. It is 2nd book in series's of 3.

It looks like we used to have Cry Mercy in our system (we have the other 2 titles) but all the copies either have been withdrawn due to condition or lost.  You can try our Suggest a Purchase form, since it looks like it's available in an inexpensive paperback format.  Our Collection Development department will then evaluate it to see if we should add it back to our system.  However most often, unless it's a classic, titles older than 2 years won't be repurchased.

You can also always request we get it through Interlibrary Loan, where we would have another city's library system send us a copy through the mail.  You would agree to pay postage, but it's pretty reasonable, sent at a special library rate.
