How do I keep track of items I have requested or read?
Once an item is checked back in, the library does not keep any of your past items in our records.
However, if you go to Omaha Public Library website, in the upper right of the screen, you can login to My Account using your library barcode and PIN. If this is the first time you are logging into to our new online catalog system, you will be prompted to create a username; however, after this intial login, you can choose to use either your username or your library barcode.
After you have logged in, click on My Settings in the upper right of the screen. From here, select the Privacy link. On the Privacy settings page, you canitems by selecting the checkbox under that section. This will create a list of all the items you return from this point on.
Your Recently Returned list will be visible to you under the MyOPL tab, along with lists of all the items you have currently checked out, and on hold. You can also create your own Shelves and Lists to track items you have read, are currently reading, or plan to read in the future.
