We will be happy to tell give you your PIN number, but for your own privacy and security we ask that you do this in person at any Omaha Public Library location.  Please have both your library card and a piece of picture identification such as your driver’s license with you.

In the meantime, if you need to renew any items or need any more service, please feel free to call us at 444-4800.

  1. Do not have a pin no.

  2. When your account was set up, it should have included a pin number. However, since it a pin is not needed to actually check out books, it is easy to never use this number and not realize you even have it. If your account contains a current email address, you can go to omahalibrary.org and click on "Log-in to My Account" on the right hand side. Then, at the bottom of the next page, click on "Need a pin." You will be emailed a link to choose a pin number. Also, staff can give you a new pin number if you present your photo id when visiting any Omaha Public Library branch.
