Q

I am looking for details on people who have done significant healthcare research in Nebraska.

Should I look at World Herald stories? Does this site have access?

Answer

Yes, the Omaha World-Herald would be a good place to start.  You can access articles from the OWH going back to 1983 via the NewsBank database to which we subscribe.  You can access the NewsBank database by going to our online Resource Center, clicking on "Newspapers" under "Category, clicking on "Omaha World-Herald" under "Databases", and clicking on "Search" under "Detail".  Some of our other databases may be helpful also, especially the ones listed under the category "Articles & Journals".

Since yours is a medical research question you may also want to contact the UNMC McGoogan Library of Medicine.
