Q

How can I choose a different format when I download an eBook?

I have a title in my account that says that it's available in 3 different formats: Kindle, Adobe ePub, of OverDrive Read. However, when I go to download the title, it only shows I can download in ePub format. I prefer Kindle format, and it appears the title is available in the kindle format, however I don't see a way to download it in that format.

How do I download the kindle format?

The title I am referring to in this instance is American Magnificat by Maxwell E. Johnson.

Thanks!

Answer

Hi and thanks for your question. You are correct, we do have it available in the Kindle format. However you are not able to download it right now because someone else has it checked out. Although we have different formats, we only have one copy (no matter the format).  But you can place a hold on the item. Once it becomes available, you will be notified, and can download the Kindle version. I hope this helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
