Can we have non-bar-code Paper Backs put back on the shelves, please ?

Small paper backs. No bar code. Excellent way to recycle used books. Why do away with this community service ?

The non-barcoded paperback collection created confusion because it was a second collection of collection of paperbacks with a different set of rules for checkout than the collection of paperbacks.  Also, removing the non-barcoded paperbacks makes room for more barcoded paperbacks, which have the advantage of showing up in our catalogs, being requestable by libray patrons, and so forth.
