Answer

If you accidentally return a book to the Omaha Public Library that belongs to a different library system we will hold it behind the desk at the library is was returned at for a limited period of time. After that, we send the item to the Main Library of the Omaha Public Library system. We keep it there for a limited peried of time then we send all books back to their owning library systems. Please call the library that you believe you first returned it to and then if it is not there please ask the librarian to call or you may call the downtown library's circulation department to see if it is there.
