Q

I have a very old library card (may not have used it for 2 years or more), should I just start over with a new card?

Your card expires every five years. Renewing it is very simple. We ask that you do this in person at any Omaha Public Library location.  Please have both your library card and a piece of identification such as your driver’s license that has your picture on it and your current address.  If your ID doesn’t have your current address on it, you can also bring in a bill dated within the last thirty days along with it.  If you no longer have your library card, we can issue you a new one with a picture ID.
