We  actually have multiple copies of the Rosetta Stone software, as well as two different editions for the Spanish language.  The main problem is that literally any Spanish language instructional course has a hard time staying on our shelves, and generates many hold requests.  We will look into purchasing new copies of Rosetta Stone.

In the meantime, I would like to recommend a course you can use on your computer right now for FREE.  It's called the Mango Languages course and we have it available on our Resource Center web page.  Just browse down to Language Lessons in the first column and click.  You'll see Mango Languages come up in the middle column.  Once that is selected click on the SEARCH button that comes up in the right column.

You'll be redirected to a page where you'll have to enter you library card, and then you'll be on the Mango home page.  Select your language and away you go!  You can create a Mango profile so it remembers your progress and can always go back and review any lesson.  Just be sure to always use our link to get to the Mango web site - it's not free unless Mango knows you're an Omaha Library user.

Hopefully the Mango Languages courses will provide an alternative for you during the wait for Rosetta Stone.  Let us know how it goes!
