Answer

As long as you have a library card, you don't need to register so much as make sure you have the right apps on your iPad.  eBooks come in two 'flavors'.  You can use either the Kindle App for Amazon Kindle books or the Overdrive app for Adobe ePUB and PDF books.  Both of these apps are available through the iTunes App Store.  For each version we have made a step-by-step guide to walk you through the process of getting a book onto your iPad:

Our Overdrive Guide

(If you don't already have one, you will need an Adobe ID.  While you can do it via your iPad in Overdrive following our guide, you might want to register for your Adobe ID on your PC, just follow this link and click on the "Don't have an Adobe ID?" link near the bottom)

Our Kindle Guide

Hopefully that should get you all set up with your iPad to read eBooks.  Please let us know if you have any further questions.  Thanks!
