How long does cataloging take?
Ideally it takes 48 hours once tech services has received an item, for it to be on its way to fill a hold or to its library branch. Some items can take longer if there is a problem. If there is a specific item you have noticed has stayed in 'cataloging' status for a long time, you may either resubmit a question on AskOPL or call 402-444-4800 and a staff member can try to help.
