If you can't use the library website without a pin, and you need to go into the library in person to get it, why in the world are you not telling peo

le that and giving them a pin when they get a library card?

Thank you for your question.  When you initially set up your library card and fill out the application there is a space to give yourself a pin, we always make sure this section is completed.  This pin is 4 digits and is only numbers.  A lot of people forget they gave themselves a PIN and often call to get their PIN.  We are not able to give PIN's to customers over the phone.  You may reset your 4 digit PIN if you have a email address set up on your account.
