Can someone else come in and get my holds with my library card?

Answer

Yes.  As long as a person has the library card, we assume they have been given permission to use it.  We don't check for ID as long as the card is in good standing.  Many people have friends or relatives who pick up their books for them.

Needless to say, this is also why it is important to immediately let us know if your card is lost or stolen!
