My book will not down load

Doesn't show up in my Sony Reader File Other book downloaded fine

We are sorry that you are having difficulty downloading our eBooks.

 

Please try clearing your computer’s Temporary Internet Files.  We have found that this often solves our patrons’ downloading difficulties.

 

To clear the Temporary Internet Files:

 

If you have Internet Explorer 6:

·         Open Internet Explorer

·         Go to Tools > Internet Options.

·         On the 'General' tab, in the 'Temporary Internet Files' section, click the 'Delete Files' button.

·         Check the 'Delete all offline content' checkbox.

·         Once completed, please also click the ‘Delete Cookies’ button.

·         Click 'OK'.

 

If you have Internet Explorer 7:

·         Open Internet Explorer

·         Go to Tools > Internet Options.

·         On the 'General' tab, in the 'Browsing history' section, click the 'Delete' button.

·         Click the 'Delete files’ button under the ‘Temporary Internet Files’ heading.

·         Click 'Yes'.

 

If you have Internet Explorer 8:

·         Open Internet Explorer

·         Go to Tools > Internet Options.

·         On the ‘General’ tab, click ‘Delete’ under Browsing History.

·         In the Delete Browsing History dialog box, click to clear all of the check boxes except for the Temporary Internet Files check box, and then click Delete.

·         Click ‘OK’.

 

Once this has been done, please delete the title from your OverDrive Media Console and download it again from your library account.

 

If that does not fix the problem, please resubmit your question with the following information so that we can help you:

 

• Your name
• Your Library Card Number
• Your PIN
• Title of the book
• Format of the book (Adobe eBook, Mobipocket eBook, Overdrive Audio, etc.)
• Adobe Reader Version, Mobipocket Version or Windows Media Player Version.
• Your Operating System (Windows XP, Windows 98, Mac OS X, etc.)
• Your Browser and Browser Version Number (Internet Explorer 6.0, Firefox 0.9, etc.)
• The exact text of the error message.
• If an error was not received, please describe the problem.
• The steps that are being taken before the error occurs.
• Have you successfully downloaded a title before? If so, has anything changed on your system since then?

  1. Trying to download "U is for Undertow" via USB cord. Won't do it. It shows up on my Amazon Library account. The book appears in the cloud reader--but only on my computer and NOT my Kindle Fire.
