Answer

In our new interface for the library catalog, you can easily view all of the new titles grouped into different genres and categories.  Go to the catalog at http://www.myopl.com Near the top of the screen you will see several menu options, including Recent Activity, New Titles, Awards, Bestsellers, and Staff Picks.  Click on the link to New Titles.

Here you have several options of new titles to view.  You can use the pull-down menus to create a specific type of new title you want to see.  For instance, you could choose New Fiction Books for Adults in English.

There are also many pre-set lists just below this that you can choose, including one for all new fiction.  That will quickly generate a list that is up to the very minute you click on it.  If you want to narrow it down, you can do so using the options on your left. (Note that for OPL, All Fiction is only adult fiction....for teen fiction and children's fiction, there are separate links.)

The items are listed in the order acquired, with the most recent at the top.  You can also narrow it down to just the last week or month or year by using the limits on the left side of the screen.

If you need help, please feel free to ask any of our staff the next time you visit any of our libraries and we can walk you through this!
