Can people out of town get material mailed to them and can we mail them back. I have in the past but I don't remember which library it was. This will be used for in service hours for daycare. If you could let me know that would be wonderful. Thanks Kristen

Thanks for asking!  If I'm understanding your question correctly, you'd like to have Omaha Public Library materials mailed to another location outside of Omaha?  The answer is, sort of.  OPL participates in interlibrary loan, a service where libraries around the country lend items to patrons of other libraries that do not own those items.  You pay for the postage to send the item.  If you go in to your local library (or possibly look on their website) you should be able to place a request for interlibrary loan items.  The reason that I answered "sort of" is there is no guarantee that the items will come from our library specifically.  However, the postage will be the same no matter where the item is sent from.

Let me know if you have any other questions, or if I completely misunderstood what you're asking.  Thanks again for asking, and thanks for using AskOPL.
