Answer

Hillside Stables was listed at 108th and Dodge in 1968 and 1969; 1969 was the last time it appeared at that address. Omaha World Herald articles show that Hillside had already moved out to a new location about a mile northwest of Irvington by October 1968. A salvage auction was held on the old site (101 S. 108th St.) on Oct. 26, 1968. The land had been "sold for development." Let us know if you need more information!

If you have an Omaha Public Library card, you can access the Omaha World Herald digital archives from any computer--there is quite a lot of history there about the Hillside Stables and their owner, Ernest C. Wolff.  The business was carried on in Irvington by son Jerry Wolff after Ernest's retirement and subsequent death (Aug. 20, 1969).
