If the book you're looking for has been published within the last two years, you have several options: you may either ask library staff to submit a request for purchase on the phone or in person, or you can click on the Services link at the top of our homepage and click on the Suggest A Purchase link found under the Requests column. When you click on the Suggest A Purchase link, it will prompt you to log in to your account. Once logged in, you can make your purchase request.

If the book hasn't been published within the last two years, you may request the title through Interlibrary Loan. Options for obtaining ILL items include:

  • Visiting any Omaha Public Library location. Staff will assist customers in either filling out the interlibrary loan form or submitting a request via a computer.
