Overdrive's website is talking about licensing where you pay "Cost-per-circ" -- do you know if this will allow OPL to let patrons check out more small-audience e-books?

Answer

Thank you for asking. Not necessarily. The Cost per Circ model is still dependent on the library's budget limits when purchasing content, whether it is for a small audience or bestselling. In other words, if there is money in the budget we will be able to circulate it and if there is not then we would not.
