how can I find out if the library that I am close to have the dvds that I requested today; so I can pick them up.

You can check your own account online to see if a hold you placed is ready for pick-up. There is a log-in button at the top righthand corner of the Omaha Public Library website.

You can also search the catalog for your title. When you find it, click on the link that says "Available in some locations." That will show you what branches currently have copies. However, even if it appears that your branch has a copy on hand, you would probably be best advised to call the branch before you go, to make sure someone else doesn't pick it up before you get there. Also note that you can only check out 10 DVDs at a time!
