Thanks for asking! You'll begin at The search bar at the right-hand corner of the screen is the easiest way to find a particular book - I would start with keywords like "late show connelly" - this will take you to a list of search results, where you'll see the various formats in which we have the book.

Click on the green button that says "Place a Hold." You'll be prompted to sign in with your library card number (14 digits from the back of your card, no spaces) and the 4-digit PIN you chose when you set up the account.

After you sign in, the catalog will ask you at which library you'd like to pick up the book, and then to Confirm Hold. If there's a waiting list for the book, you'll be added into the queue, and when you come up in the hold list a copy will be sent to your chosen location. We'll notify you (usually by email) and you'll have seven days to come pick it up!

If you have trouble, please feel free to give us a call at 402-444-4800 - we're happy to place requests over the phone, too. Thanks for asking, and thanks for using AskOPL!
