why is card #XXXXX not recognized on e-mail catalogue hold order

I use card occasionally at Swanson Branch and have no problems

Your card appears to be in good standing. Possibly you mistyped the number? When you click on Place Hold for an item in the catalog, you should see this:

Don't forget to put your PIN in as well.
