Answer

Thanks for asking! Feel free to give us a call at 402-444-4800 or your neighborhood library for the fastest and simplest help in getting that book held for you. We won't need to use your PIN to place a request over the phone, just your card number or name.

The PIN is a four-digit number that you would have chosen back when you first created your account. It's encrypted on our side, so we can't say for sure what it was, and we typically need photo ID in person to reset it. If you have an email address on file in your library account, you can use this form to have an email sent to you that will allow you to reset your PIN.

The PIN reset form is fast and easy, but if you have any trouble remember that we'll be happy to help you get the book held over the phone, and then you can just reset your PIN in person when you come to pick up the book. Thanks for using AskOPL!
