How do I renew my educator library card? I can't find the paperwork on your website.

There is no paperwork or form on the website. Instead you simply bring a letter from the administrator of your school to any Omaha Public Library location, requesting that a library card be issued or renewed under the name of the business, school or a particular class. The letter should indicate who will be responsible for holding the card and who will be allowed to check out items on the account. Picture ID will be required from the person applying for the library account.
For child development centers or for educators of students in eighth grade or below, a special “business juvenile” card can be issued that allows no fines on juvenile items which are returned late.
The business or school is responsible for lost or damaged items and any fines triggered for late return of materials.
