Q

Do any of the local libraries offer internet access to users?

I have a laptop and I want to do research and write a paper at the library, can I connect to the internet wirelessly at any of the branches?

Answer

Thanks for asking! All twelve of our library locations have free public wireless internet available. Look for "OPL-Wifi" in your network list. There's no password required, but you will be directed through a terms of use page in your web browser.

Unfortunately we don't have the capacity for wireless printing, so if you need to print the finished paper it would be a matter of signing in to one of our computers with a library card. Otherwise, you won't need to be a cardholder to visit us and use the wi-fi.

Thanks again for asking, and thanks for using AskOPL!
