I lost my library card but, I don't want a new one, I want the same account with a new card to use.
I am sorry to hear you have lost your library card. If you provide me with your full name, I can look up your account to see if it was possibly misplaced at a library (we would have placed a note in your account if this is the case).
If you do not want a new card, it is possible to checkout at any Omaha Public Library with a photo I.D.
If you decide to get a new card (with no cost), you will receive a new account number, but everything else would remain the same. Unfortunately we do not have a way to generate a new card with your same account number on it. All of our cards come pre-printed/pre-barcoded.
