Will you see if a name is listed in the index of an old Southern Bible book you have in your collection? Then, if it is, I can drive up to Omaha and do research there.
I'm looking for Thomas B Moore b 1793; he is possibly in the book
Old Southern Bible records : transcriptions of births, deaths, and marriages from family Bibles, chiefly of the 18th and 19th centuries
Author:Memory Lee Alldredge Lester
Publisher:Baltimore, M.D. : Clearfield Co., 1990, ©1974.

Thanks for asking! For the sake of formality and the benefit of future researchers, I have to include the contact info and procedures for our local history research team, https://omahalibrary.org/research-help/, who will usually be the right folks to reach out to for assistance in navigating our genealogy and local history collections.

That being said, I happened to be on the right floor of the right library to run a quick check on this, so I can address the question as a courtesy without steering you through the more formal process.

Thomas B Moore, b. 1793, does not appear in the index of names in Lester's book. A Thomas C. Moore (b. 13 Jan 1821) appears on p. 299, but that gentleman is the only Thomas Moore in the index.

Glad we could save you the trip, though sorry it didn't prove to be a source for your research! Thanks again for asking, and thanks for using AskOPL.
