Do I need an e-reader for the e-books or does the library provide one? Thank you.

Many branches now check out eReaders.  These are pre-loaded with 20 titles.  Every eReader is registered to a unique user; in this case the eReaders are registered to the library, which means it is not possible for a library borrower to download additional titles.

To download eBooks, you may purchase an eReader.  If you own a smartphone, you probably already own a device that is compatible with our eBook system. An iPad or iPod also works.  For a list of compatible devices click here.
