Omaha Public Library does not have a book specifically about heat transfer. We do have a database, EBSCOhost Science & Technology Collection (requires logging in with your library account from home), which has various articles about heat transfer. This might be helpful if you are looking for a certain application of heat transfer.

If you would like a book about this subject, in this case you may want to consider Inter-Library Loan, where we call out to libraries around the country or world to arrange for a short-term loan to you through us. ILL service comes with a postage cost, but it's often a good option for finding something OPL does not carry.  If you're interested in pursuing ILL, you can follow the link above (which will take you to our ILL page with instructions and to the WorldCat page, where you can look up and request titles).  Alternatively, you can stop in at your local library or call 402-444-4857.

Another option is to try local area college libraries, such as UNO's Criss Library or Creighton's Reinhart-Alumni Memorial Library. Both of these libraries are open to the public for browsing. For checking out material, you would have to ask at these libraries to see if they have a paid public or Friends of the Library membership.

I hope this helps!

Thank you for using AskOPL.
