Q

recently aquired books

Is there a list of books currently on new/recently acquired shelves by the main doors at the main library? I picked one out I wanted to check out, forgot to check it out, and can't remember the title. Thanks

Thanks for asking! It's possible to use the library catalog's advanced search function to create a list of results that approximates the books on the shelf in that area. I will include a link to a set of custom search results that you can browse through. That can be a little bit of an unwieldy approach, though, so if you don't see anything that looks familiar we may be able to help you locate the book based on anything you remember about it - the author, the plot, even the cover illustration may help.

Try this search, though, for a start: https://omaha.bibliocommons.com/search?custom_query=available%3A%22OPL+-+Main+Library%22+collection%3A%22Main+Library+Adult+New+Fiction+(1st+Floor)%22+formatcode%3A(BK+)&suppress=true&custom_edit=false&sort%5Bfield%5D=AUTHOR&sort%5Btype%5D=BIB_FIELDS&sort%5Bdirection%5D=ascending

Thanks for using AskOPL! Again, feel free to email back for further assistance tracking down the title.
