Sorry you're experiencing problems!  Unfortunately it's hard from our end to see what the problem is.  I'm assuming you're referring to the book titled The Spark by Chris Downie.  When I look at the screen it tells me that there are currently no copies available for download.  But what it doesn't tell me is whether or not that is because you or someone else has that copy.

The link you sent over also doesn't work for me, but again it's hard to tell whether there's a problem at Amazon, or if the link includes info that's actually specific to your Kindle account and so unable to be viewed by anyone else.

If Amazon thinks you have it checked out you can actually check it back in early by going to your Amazon account details, under 'Manage my Kindle'.  If you see the book listed there, try checking it in and then going to our download page again to see if it is available once more.

Hopefully this will solve the problem.  Please let us know if you continue to have difficulties.

  1. Dear Russ,

When I am in my account under "checked out" I do see the book 'The Spark' by Chris Downie. There is a button next to it saying "Get for Kindle." When I click that button then a window pops up on the Amazon site that says, "
    Looking for something?
We're sorry. The web address you entered is not a functioning page on our site."

I did double check in my Amazon Kindle account and the book 'The Spark' is not there. I also searched my computer for 'The Spark' and nothing came up in the search.

I do have print screens of the pages if that would help you. Please let me know if you need those.

There seems to be an issue somewhere between the Omaha Library site and the Amazon site.

If the book is unavailable can it please be removed from my checkouts instead of having to wait until the 30th for it to be automatically returned?

Please let me know if there is further information that you need from me.

Thank you for your time and help on this issue.
